Warm heart, warm house
Today was one of those pillar-to-post gallops, but I felt really good about making it over to the Cigar Factory Lofts in West Oakland to see a bunch of local artists and merchants share their work for holiday shoppers.
I figured I’d gotten unlucky and missed out on seeing James Knox, but I turned around a few minutes after arriving and found him in a doorway.
After heading home, I picked up Ankita and we made it over to Karim Amara’s housewarming over in Adams Point. He’s taken to life in Oakland, and more than a few of his friends still living in San Francisco came to visit and dance and tell stories.
